Oh no! I have so much homework to do tonight...

This is the last time I procrastinate, I think.

... Toga Party? Some girls were talking about it the other day in my Intro. to World History class, but I didn't really hear anything about it until last night. I don't know if I should go. After all, I don't really have an interest in rushing and I've heard those sort of parties can get out-of-hand. Besides, it might be more of a hindrance than something fun.

Hm, you know, it's been a while since I last saw a certain someone. Kazu, I have a present for you. ♥ We should meet up soon, so I can give it to you. It's nothing much, but...

Private to self. Very hackable. )

I picked up some knitting things, and I'm trying to teach myself. I've poked myself with the needle a few times, but when I feel what I have of the scarf, it seems even and there doesn't happen to be holes or missed stitches. And the person who sold me the yarn said that it was dark blue, which is a nice color, isn't it?

I don't know who I'll give it to when I finish. Maybe... Now that would be silly.

I didn't like the storm very much; I kept waking up and after a while, I couldn't fall back asleep anymore. The thunder kept me up. I was so sleepy the entire next day, I could barely read through that chapter we had assigned for Intro. to World History. But at least I could go to sleep early: since the power was out, it looked like nobody was doing anything anyways.

I'm really glad I charged my iPod, or else I would be awfully bored. If I hadn't, I'm sure I would have been out of battery by now. And it's nice to relisten to some of these songs. I almost forgot how pretty this one is.

I really enjoyed exploring the town around the university with you, Kazu: you’re a really fun person to be with! I’m sorry we couldn’t go rollerblading or anything like that, but I’m sure you have other friends that can do that with you. I don’t mean that I don’t wish I could go rollerblading with you—I really would—but...

My math class has to be the most challenging right now; most of my other classes come easily, but I’ve never been very good with math. Even in boarding school, I always seemed to be one of the girls that lagged behind. So, if any of you would be nice enough to help me with this math problem?

It takes 4 1/2 minutes for Elton John to listen to his favorite song on a record recorded at 45 r.p.m. (revolutions per minute). One day, Elton accidentally played this record at 33 1/3 r.p.m.'s. What was the number of revolutions required to play the song? What was the amount of time it took to play it at 33 1/3 r.p.m.?

I wonder if anyone would actually do that here.

Oh, and Lenalee! I'll be on tonight—I want to go to the library today and return the Inferno, maybe check out a new book. After that, I'll go home and go online. Is that okay for you? That way we can plan the picnic quickly.

It looks like I have a new roommate. Anise Tatlin, I think...? I haven't met her in our room yet, because it looks like we keep missing each other, but I was told that was her name. Either way, I'm glad I have someone in here. It was a little lonely having the whole dorm to myself. It might be a little more cramped, but once I memorize the layout of things, it should be easier to navigate through the room.

In fact, now that there's two of us here, I suppose now would be a good time to use the money to furnish our little apartment. The living room-kitchen area is a little empty.

Lelouch? I hope you don't mind if I don't visit you like I normally do tomorrow afternoon. I'm going out with a friend of mine. Have you met Kazu, yet? He's new, just like us. I think you might like him.

Also, I think we should go to the beach with Kairi sometime. Maybe we can bring a few more frineds too and make it a little party. I'd like that a lot; what do you think?

Today in Math was a little difficult. I've never been especially good at algebra, but I'm working through it. I'm just worried about geometry when that comes up, since it's so visually-based. Perhaps there's some way to simplify it so I don't have to worry too much about imagining the shape in my mind, especially since there's so much room for error that way.

I think I might want to get some flowers for my side of the dorm. I should ask Aerith if she knows anything that might smell nice.

Since Roxas was kind enough to bring me to the library, I find it's really a good way to relax after classes. I've already checked out a few books for myself, including Dante's Inferno. It's nice to know that the library here on-campus has such an extensive braille library; there are so many choices, I just know I want to read them all while I'm here.

There is such a large influx of students lately. It seems the majority of people I meet like to major in Crimonology; it's a little surprising. After all, I thought something like English would be the most common, or perhaps Business. I suppose there are people I haven't met yet that major in those things, so I could be wrong still. There's a fair amount of music majors too, which is always nice.

Speaking of music, Quatre: I'm about to go practice a little bit in the music room. Would you like to join me?

I decided to pick up a new piece to learn, just for myself. What do you think of La Valse d'Amelie, Lelouch? I know that the composer is a bit more contemporary, but it's been tiring since all we listen to currently in Instrumentation seem to be pieces from the 17th and 18th century. It would be nice to hear something a little different, and it's a beautiful piece, I think.

Is there a place any of the Music majors get together and play in their spare time? It might be nice to have someone to practice with.

It's a really beautiful day outside, I think. The sun feels so warm.

Well, the campus here is very lively. I've heard nothing but people talking the moment I arrived at Evergrove University. Sayako was able to bring me my things and help me settle into my dorm, so I must remember to telephone her--to say 'thank you.'

But even more importantly, I should find my prodigal brother. If anyone could be so kind to tell me where Lelouch Lamperouge is, I'd be very appreciative.

Also, I'm a little curious: does anyone know the way to the library?
